Yoga isn't about being good at something. It's about being good to yourself.
I discovered yoga by accident. Our small town didn't offer many evening activities, but one lady taught yoga there every Monday. She was determined and strong with a spark in her eyes. I went to high school at the time and felt that, even though I was studying, I wasn't moving anywhere. Yoga made me feel like I was finally progressing, stirring my stagnant energy.
In Germany, I started practicing more, dancing, and doing acro yoga. With no gymnastics training, I had to learn everything from scratch. My heart led me to India, where I found more than just knowledge at the ashram in the Himalayas—I found lifelong friendships and a determination to guide others on their paths.

What I like most about the classes with Aja is that she respects my possibilities. She will always give me tips on how to improve and what to focus on more.
